***Attention: All former Tritons! Players and Coaches to be in an Alumni Baseball Game!***
The current Edmonds Community College Baseball coaching staff is working hard to put together a day where former Tritons can get together, play a baseball game, and then reminisce at a local restaurant after the game. Triton Baseball is built on tradition and we want to start an annual alumni game starting in fall 2008. Please contact Coach Roberts (Assistant Coach) (360) 202 1034, adam.roberts@edcc.edu or email Coach Ditter (Head Coach) brad.ditter@edcc.edu if you would like to take part in this inaugural event! Please remember to provide us with your current contact information. See you all this fall!

Oliver Webster has decided to forgo his sophomore season and accept a scholarship to pitch at New Mexico State University in the fall of 2008. Webster went 6-2 with a 3.35 ERA for the Tritons in 2007.
“This is an opportunity I’ve been waiting along time for. To play in the WAC against some of the top teams in the country is something I’ve always dreamed of doing” Webster said.
Other Trition’s to move on in 07-08:
Camron Litzenburger, RHP: NAIA National Champions Lewis and Clark State
Gary Jones: Division I University of Hawai'i at Hilo
Curtis Van Wyck, SS: Division I Kennesaw State
Ben Lanier, CF: Concordia University, OR
David Marks, RF: Lowell Spinners in the New York Penn League.
While at EdCC Marks hit .370 with 7 HR and was ranked as the top prospect in the NWAACC by Baseball America. David was selected in the 19th round by the Boston Red Sox in the 2007 Draft.
Coach Brad Ditter stated, “Marks was a former Walk-on to the Triton family, he worked incredible hard to accomplish what he did and spent numerous hours in the weight room and in the indoor hitting facility.”
“I’m proud of every one of these kids, these six individuals worked extremely hard to put themselves in this situation. For Webster to move on after one year is a great accomplishment” coach Ditter said.
